Personally I don't see how those two can stay together with the beating she just took.  He's done lifted his hand to her , man he was awful!  How could she ever trust him again? He's cheated on her and more than likely he would do it again because he told her that was the kind of man he is! If you can make this work then it would be short of Kagome always living In fear of him.  I hope her father beats the ever living crap out of him and I hope Kagome hides with those kids from him for the next 20 yrs. Sesshoumaru is no good for her or any woman.  I wished he had whipped Kagura for starting it. He's one sicko! 

Just binged your story. The beginning definitely had the early fanfction.net story vibes! Can't wait for more

Yo this story makes me wanna hurt Sesshomaru! And Kagome should have took her chance when Sesshomaru wasn't home, packed her things and grabbed the twins and just left! No woman should be treated with physical abuse from a man no matter the situation, Kagome should have grabbed a knife and stab him for real! This story makes me so pumped with adrenaline!

However, there are some mistakes. And I feel like the story seems a little rushed, I suggest you add more elaborate details for a much smoother flow. But I like the plot and the direction this story is going, so keep up the good work. :)

Such a well written story, and all to familiar to women everywhere.  I agree with Stell's review.  I hope this doesn't end up with them together.  The seperate therapy that they would need would take years.  I, personally, dispise the stories where one person (be they male or female) is abusive, then all the sudden they are either 'all better' or bully the other person to accepting them as is.  I hate the stories that basically, glorify abuse as something that one person can change about another. My father, a state police officer, gave me something to think about after he found out a boyfriend punched the dash of my car in a fit of anger, "If he will hit the car, he'll hit you.  Don't doubt it.  If he hits you, someday he could hit your children.  It's not about who or what they are hitting.  It's about their anger and lack of control."  He'd seen too much of that sort of thing.   The abuser has to be the one to want the change.  Kagome's family and Inu were just being enablers by keeping that secret from Kagome.  Best thing Inu and Kikyo could do is tell Inupapa that Sesshoumaru has hit 'his daughter'.

I wonder if Inupapa or Kagome's Dad will see themselves in Sesshoumaru's actions and beat the crap outta him.

I love how you are drawing Naraku.  Hope he takes Kagome to the doctor and the police, dispite not wanting to 'air their dirty laundry'.

Can't wait to see where you are going next.

This story's beginnings hit hard in the heartstrings.  This was basically my mother's story.  In the end, she stayed and they were miserable because she ended up becoming a trampled flower, and he the one who was always right.  It did not have a happy ending; she ended up with cancer and STD's from him (and his trollops from business trips) and died young.

When it comes to this story, and the fact that it is on a Sess/Kag site, I actually hope it won't end up being Sess/Kag.  When that kind of betrayal happens, you can never move past the wondering of "when he's going to do it again"...  And that helps the woman none.  My mother was made to feel that HE was the wronged party, every time they had an argument.  And she would teeter between believing him and not.  In the end, the indisputable proof was when not even 3 months after she was buried, The Other woman moved in and was referred to by my grandmother (whom my mother had thought of as her mother) as "your father's wife".

I would like to see Kagome being strong and moving past it, moving past him.  You cover the pain of loving someone so much even when they treat you so poorly.  I hope she can mend the damage to her psyche from these betrayals, as my mother could not.  Her mother and brothers insisted she look past the transgressions and "just live with it", even when it was something that hurt her so much. My father's domineering and controlling behaviors limited her social life.  It takes a strong will to change yourself, when the change involves someone you love.

Though Sesshoumaru loves her, he doesn't show it in his actions.  Going to find a present as an apology and ending up cheating with yet another woman, he demonstrates a lack of consideration for his wife.  No matter how much he castigates himself; he still ends up doing what he knows is wrong.  Because you still love the other person, doesn't mean that they won't change how they feel about you.  I would think Kagome can not stand being touched by him now as she'll be haunted by the knowledge that he's been with other women, and she is sharing with him and his lovers' lovers all sorts of questionable STD's.

I love the way you protrayed Naraku in this story so far though.  It's nice to see him done as a nice guy, and not some slimeball scum as  typical.

Gosh, I sure hate Sesshomaru right now. Like, I really legitimately hate him. I do. And that makes me sad.

And Kagome! I feel sorry for her. A new baby on the way...

The sad thing is, this is something that happens. You write it so realistically! That's kudos to you, and a sad fact for life.

I don't think there ould be a happy end to this. I hope Sesshomaru...well, I hope he gets what's coming to him.

Wow Sesshomaru hit kags, what an ass, I hope she gets away form him, I mean how in the world do you mend a broken relationship if your husband cheats on you with women, and then hits you because you want to leave him, you can't and if kags stays with him, she is a big fool, I know this is a kagome and Sesshomaru flick or story, but if i were her I would not go back to him, never, when a man cheat on you or hits you, he will always be an abuser and a cheater, you can't change that, he might say he will never do it again, and in this Story Sesshomaru is living prof that he is a cheater and always will be, I hope kags finds her happy ending with out Sesshomaru, and with someone that loves her deeply.

Having school during the summer sucks.

This was a great chapter! Sessh is being such a jerk to Kagome! And that glint in Kikyo's eye...she's definitely up to something bad. Well, sorta good, actually. I think. I can already imagine Kikyo and Kagome sitting in a room together pouting. GIRL POWER! Can't wait for the next installment!
