Fluffy Lady (Chapter 57) - Fri 09 Jul 2010

Okay, I read all 57 chapters in about four days and am left on that rather hanging cliffhanger wondering what all is going to come of the dance.

Bless Kagome's heart. Her fingers got broke and she can't play perfectly anymore. Add to that Hasu "comandeering" Sesshomaru's attention and Oka's "strange" behavior and we have ourselves one worked up maiko miko. lol

~Eagerly awaiting more,

FL

Karli (Chapter 57) - Tue 06 Jul 2010

WOW Loved your attention to detail during the whole story.

I think the best i read was when Sesshomaru exposed Kagome that bit really stand out for me for some reason. look forward to reading more and how Kagome ended up in Tokyo and in the geisha house.

Cheers mate

Oh how I wish something simple as that would help.I love this story, I love the last couple chapters. So real. Touching home so much, having been in similar- almost exactly- situations.

My heartaches lol I really hope this has a happy ending.

Love the story! Please, please, please update!

maddie50 (Chapter 57) - Sat 26 Jun 2010

I have been behind, again, on my reading. I just caught up with the story. I think you described Kagome's desolation and suicidal ideation in a thoughtful and caring manner. It was difficult to read, but I feel it was necessary to fit the circumstances. Sesshoumaru was very patient with her through this time and having Kagome see him in pain was the perfect option to make her see beyond herself.

The last chapter, Back To Kyoto, was difficult to read because the "plan" was being enacted. Although we know Sesshoumaru is playing his part, Kagome is too fragile to not become insecure with the attention he is paying Hasu. The episode with her instrument is tragic.

I hope you are having a great time in Japan.

mandy (Chapter 57) - Sat 26 Jun 2010

oh i hope you update soon. i hope they get to the bottom of everything. i'm starting to get the sneaking suspicion that oka is responsible for everything.

BloodValkyrie (Chapter 57) - Thu 17 Jun 2010
Wait . . . Don't maikos have to get their hair done once a week, and sleep on special pillows to keep their hairstyle in place throughout the week? Good story, though. Oh, and another thing, why would a maiko do laundry? Didn't teahouses have maids and little maiko-to-be cocoons?

Nightcrane Storm (Chapter 57) - Tue 15 Jun 2010

Hello, hello~

You might remember me from when I reviewed on FF.net.  (Though, probably not.  ^^)  I started getting impatient for an update, so I went to go look up some other fanfics while waiting.  Around that time, I discovered Dokuga.  I also found Wisteria (again) on here, and what do I discover?  It's, what, NINE chapters further along here?  Why do you have it further updated here than elsewhere?  And is there anywhere else that it's even farther updated?  (Obviously, I'm having trouble being patient for the next chapter.  XD)

Ooooo...Sesshy, that's a really horrible thing to do to Ka-I mean, Fuji!  If you wanted to be really mean, you could have him start patronizing Hasu again.  Though, I think that might upset a lot of your fans reading Wisteria, and for a good reason.  We've had enough angst to last us quite a few chapters, with Kagome being suicidal and all, and we're ready for lots and lots of fluff.  On the other (other) hand, suspense is always good.

Again, maybe you could put a glossary of terms at the beginning or the end of each chapter?

You continue to do an amazing job with this story, please update again soon!

shido (Chapter 57) - Wed 09 Jun 2010

Awww poor Kagome, that must hard. I really dislike Hasu, and I really hate Oka.

This story is absolutely amazing and so captivating. I've only found this a couple days ago and I've been reading non-stop. I love it so much it's ridiculous. I hope to see an update soon!! :)

shido (Chapter 53) - Wed 09 Jun 2010

Awsome chapter!! I love when they have happy interactions!

shido (Chapter 39) - Wed 09 Jun 2010

You killed Ah-Un???? You really killed Ah-Un????

shido (Chapter 26) - Wed 09 Jun 2010

What is she thinking?!?!?! Ahhhh, she can't steal it, he's gonna be furious! Stupid stupid Kagome! Just tell him, tell him who you are! Arrgggggg!!!

loveyaa (Chapter 57) - Sat 05 Jun 2010

Awww...poor Kagome. She is just losing it all: her ability to play, her strength of determination to lie and keep up the facade, her man. Lets see who gives in first, Kagome or the man behind the curtain. I can't wait to see what happens next and how Kagome and Sesshoumaru figure things out while still staying strong and together.

Ruriame (Chapter 57) - Sat 05 Jun 2010

I can't believe I never left a review for this story. Shame on me. I started reading "Wisteria" a while ago but I must have gotten so hooked on it that I never noticed I didn't leave a review. I'm usually one of those people that think of feedback while I'm reading, so I probably thought of it and kept reading without stopping to review because I read it all in one go...well almost one go...I technically read it all up to one point and then there was a break where I didn't read it for a while and then I caught up. It was interesting that even though I hadn't read it in a while, I could pick up where I left off without a problem.

The imagery you paint is beautiful. I'm a fan of the Japanese language and Japanese history as well so I thought it was really awesome to be reading about so many things connected to history like the Floating World and what not. It really ties together nicely. I feel like I should re-read the whole story just so I can try to rememeber my thoughts and give it the praise it deserves.

Poor Kagome. She has to suffer so much to keep up the charade. And I agree with Madison about Oka. I don't really know or understand her intentions and I find I can't trust her at all. I'll be waiting for your next update!

By the way, I read in your profile about how you write to songs. I'm curious about which songs you wrote with the chapters because I actually write a lot from songs as well. If it isn't too much trouble, would you care to share about it?

Lisa (Chapter 57) - Wed 02 Jun 2010

I think the drama is overdone here. They went both through so much don´t you think it´s enough already? Sesshoumaru doesn´t need to be interested in Hasu to portray that there is nothing between him and Fuji/Kagome. Him acting only stoic, aloof and uninterested in anything would have been more believable, as that is his actual character. Now he is only producing more problems and I´m actually stunned that he acts this way especially with Hasu. This seems like the Kikyou situation all over again and I´m really tired of that.

Seriously, if I were Kagome I would have already given up. The only thing I would do is finding a way back to her real home and leaving the whole damn Sengoku Period behind.

Madison (Chapter 57) - Wed 02 Jun 2010

I'm so glad you're back, and that you updated so quickly. Shssh hun, did you even take the time to unpack your bags lol?

I loved this chapter a lot. There weren't really any Kagome Sesshomaru interaction, but it didn't need it. if that makes any senses. First of all, I do not trust Oka, because well, she knew Kagome couldn't play the notes, and second, she still ask her to play just to alter the song. And you, well Kagome is right in being suspicious of that. She's supposed to perform perfectly on stage, and Oka shouldn't have allowed it but she did, meaning she has a trick up her sleeves.

I felt bad for Kagome that she had to lie to her friends, and you know it's breaking her heart, but I also think it made her realize how it is hard to trust people, which is something difficult for Kagome. Her whole life, she has always given her full trust to anyone -almost- that they encountered, and for the first time, she is told, the world is not as white and pure as you think.

The hardest part to read in this chapter were the finals. How Kagome's heart breaks when Sesshomaru completely ignores her. The way you wrote it was amazing, and heart wretching. I'm sorry but I even found myself doubting Sesshomaru, lmao. You wrote Kagome's worries and thougths so good, I was like you jerk, why won't you look her way. I do hope he is playing the part.

The only problem is I dont know how long Kagome can keep the masquerade...

swift death (Chapter 57) - Tue 01 Jun 2010

AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Sesshomaru is such a stupid jerk! sherly he knows about kagome's feelings right. doesn't he know how sweet kagome will reacte to this! that insulent jerk. I hope she slaps him. Sorry, kind of giddy at this monent. nice chapter by the way, way to go and keep up the gook work. till next time. ta ta
