That was...amazing! After reading the first paragraph, it grabbed hold of me and I was delighted with the way the story unfolded. The characterizations rang true to me, and the dialog was so natural. And yes; the loss of a loved one can affect some people that way. I watched someone I loved dearly just lose the will to live after her husband passed, and one morning she simply didn't wake up. I guess when two souls are that tightly bound, one can't survive the absence of the other. Afterwards, their house, just like Kagome's and Inuyasha's, felt empty...even though it was full of people at the time.

Enough of that, though. This is a brilliant piece of work, and it definitely goes on my "watched for eagerly" list.

I just found this story tonight, and now I am addicted.  It is sooooo good!  Please, hurry with more.

Welcome back.  I've really missed this story.

WOW!  I started reading this fic, and kept thinking it sounded so familiar, but it wasn't until I read this chapter, that I knew I had read it before.  I actually had it in my favorites list, way down at the bottom, and was going to delete it, thinking it was going to be another of those unfinished stories I so hate.  I'm glad I didn't delete it now.  You actually updated it!  Does that mean you're going to finish it??  Here's hoping...it's a wonderful story and you're a very good writer.

Now back to catching up to where you left off and reading the latest chappy.  Thank you, :D

Readers of this fanfic:

My apologies for having abandoned it for a year and a half.  Life has a funny way of ripping you from where you were comfortable and dragging you, kicking and screaming, through mud and detritus, tarring and feathering you whilst you struggle to stay upright.

My life really sucks right now, but it is on it's way up.

I am in school and working on a few things to get myself out of this hole, make a decent living, and give me spare time to work on my fanfiction and independent projects.  I am 18 months away from freedom, in this respect.

I have not forgotten this tale - not for a single minute - and it haunts me every time I stop to think about what to write next.

My plan is to continue on with it and finish it properly, doing minor edits along the way.  It is going to take me many months to accomplish this.

I ask that if you love it, add it to your favorite stories queue and watch for the updates from there.  I will begin work shortly - before the end of August - and will make sure that it is the best thing I've ever produced - just because you guys are so great.  Rereading this story (because I lost it on an old machine) and the reviews that went with it have been some of the best things to come my way in a long time.  I apologize for my absense - there is little excuse and I intend to make good on the promise of a well written, well thought out piece.
