For such a short piece, that was very touching. I'm actually very glad I read this, because it was absolutely inspiring - another insight on Kagome to add to the collection. I think you captured the moment perfectly, the little bubble of thought and memory. I think this is one of those pieces that need to be short in order to work, so I'm glad you left it like that.

"This matters not to me, but to him" was the one line that bothered me, though. I think it was because it was so short - so unspecified that it just didn't work for me. In my opinion, I think adding something like '-but to him it meant everything', because otherwise it's just words and nothing else, but that's me.
