I am really enjoying the story but I'm a bit confused about the setting. Are they in Japan? Because they don't seem to be. They're eating with forks and knives, Erica and the receptionist are clearly foreigners and there was mention of kagome being in asylum in the country, so are they in a western country maybe America? But if so, there's so many other Japanese characters around, so maybe they're in a Japanese bubble in the states, but yeah, some background on that would be really appreciated.  It just set the scene but other than that, thank you for writing I'm really enjoying it and looking forward to more!
