Girl. Just wow. You really should be writing a series. Sesshomaru's mental descent, just perfect in its destruction.

Points to you for writing something of Sesshomaru I have never seen before. Something new, something always there lurking past the point of the end. That being, what happens at the moment of his Supreme Conquest completion. What is his next?

Your style of writing really gives us the readers such a wonderful perspective to view from. It only hit me with the last few chapters what about your writing of Sesshomaru and Kagome that captures me. And it is that you really know how to write interiority. Oddly enough this is such a hard element to write and actually articulate well. That is why your character portrayals are just so on point.

This chapter should be called the Battle of Power and Prose. Simply beautiful construction. You say this chapter was the hardest to write and yet it seems the most effortless. You truly inhabit the characters skin and give life to every little beautiful and horrific detail.

Incredible job. The power dynamic, the rage, the confusion and the dominance were all so beautifully woven together. It is almost harder to write the outcome of the act and the after. I suppose focus is always ever on the most passionate moments of a story but what you portrayed in the silence, the unbridled and quiet rage was just so powerful and is filled to the brim with wonderful subtext.

I love that you did not give in to make Sesshomaru softer, for even in his weakest or most intimate moments he is still Sesshomaru, he does not give in, not even to himself.

They needed writers like you on the show. What a more enriching experience it could have been than it already was.

Ok, can we stop to admire how you are banging out these chapters. I literally was savouring chapter 1 and by the time I looked back we were on chapter 5!

Hats off for being such a generous author. First, love that you are keeping this SessKag torch alive. I need a few more of these to purge my mind of the Sess/Rin pairing.

What a rollercoaster. Love that you mentioned this was the chapter it all evolved around. Did not see any of this coming. So far, what a rush. Very lively and engaging chapter thus far. This was beautifully and passionately developed.

What a welcome back. Amazing premise and love the world! It is wonderfully written. The details are beautiful, so please do not think that they are overwritten. It is richly textured and allows us to linger in its shadows.

I love the character's portrayal. As always a great SessKag fanfics usually win me by its ability to hold to their true personalities while exploring the untold possibilities.

On that note, I completely agree. I think the Sesshomaru/Rin pairing is incredibly disturbing and goes against his entire character development in the original series. That followup grossly undermines the beautiful arc he went through.

Not sure why Rumiko allowed it, perhaps she was just excited to draw what the descendants to the all the original characters would be, but I was so disappointed. Enough to drive me back to reading SessKag classics from over the years. I had stopped reading them for a long time and when the new series was announced it catapulted me back here lol.

Your writing of that moment in this chapter, where he respects that boundary and what it would mean if she would be allowed to stay with him, and his ultimate sacrifice to leave her behind and have her integrate with the village, was how it should have been handled. That was more authentic to the original series than what they did recently.

I cannot wait to see your story unfold. Take as many chapters as you need. Rare is the occasion to get a great story with the authentic Sesshomaru and Kagome characters in a strong setup.

he is so cute when he's flirting.  i love charming, playful sess <3<3 so seductive.  

i can't believe he was into her the whole time- or at least, that he was aware of it lol. the human body wasn't built for all that passion, but he's gonna squeeze every last drop ; )  excited for the next!

And just like that you gained a follower. Beyond glad you kept it going because whew was that hot!

I had to reread some parts because i was like "whats going on..." but then i got it.. lol.. so... when are they gonna water that tree?

wow, things are accelerating quickly!  a lot going on his chapter- but of course sess wouldn't be seduced by the jewel's tempting promises... bet he didn't think it'd be so hard to walk away, though.  Getting everything you've ever wanted, knowing what it felt like to realize your life's greatest ambition, and how bland and bleak life will be now that he's tasted it...

except that it wasn't real; it wasn't earned, but given- which kind of defeats the purpose- but he still needs to mourn.  Good thing kags is there to bring him back, as only she could, and maybe help him see there is still joy to be had in this plane for him, should he allow it. <3<3

never thought of how freeing it could be for him not having to hold himself back.  he could be as ruff as he wants, and as he definately has some serious inner rage, he should prob take the opportunity to free the beast while he can lol, explore this developement further : P

And he totally would turn straight to battle to deal with... well, prob any difficult feelings.  i like his teaching style of goading and chucking insults- and kag just can't resist good bait. plus, she needed to get it out too.  you also made me really aware of how skilled he is at swordplay after so many centuries of practice.  even as a human, it is second nature to him and i enjoy it.

can't wait to see how they deal with all these new developements <3<3

Bravo!! I think this chapter was well written! You captured Sesshomaru's dynamics well. He is a hard cold demon and knows who he is. Kagome is as lost as always in her new body. She has no more control in her demon body she had in her human body. If I was Sesshomaru id be pissed off too. Thank you! Cant wait for the next chapter!
