This lovely fic is one of my all-time favourites! I am so happy that you have not totally abandoned the fanfic community. I yelped when I saw this fic appear on the front page! This is an all-time hall-of-famer for me. Thank you for cross-posting and I support you no matter what the future holds. I hope you've been well and I want to thank you for writing for this ship and writing so WELL and so endearingly. I think I speak for many in the fandom when I say your works are treasured and dear to us. 

This fic is like THE staple of the - Sesshoumaru tries to court Kagome and miscommunicates trope. It's a classic, love it. You're my favourite Sesskag author and pretty much started my love for this ship years ago. Thank you so much for posting it here, Tally! I hope you consider putting your works on Ao3 too! ^^ 

Love this story. Would always find it every so often to read on ff. Glad to see it here. 

SQUEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  OMG!!!!!!  This makes me so damn happy to see it here! ???? I love love love love love this story.  One of my earliest memories of this story is saving it on my computer and making sure I had copies of it so that I could pull it out and read it even when there was no internet connection when I was visiting my grandparent's in India.  (And that was like 10 years ago).  I'm so so so excited to see this here too!  

My favorite part of this entire story is when Sesshomaru tells her the sweetest thing he found was her as a substitution for chocolate.  And then when he gives her the mirror, I melt and squeal every single time! 

This fic has literally inspired me so many times!  I've referenced it to BigBang Artists I work with, I cherish it, and I will forever and ever hold up any other fics that deal with misunderstandings in courting traditions to this one a s benchmark.  

Okay, now that I'm done reviewing, I think I'll go reread this again for the 1,001th time!

You know, as I've written this elsewhere, how very much I've loved this story - many times over. I think the only one of yours I love better might be'Courtesy Call.' Which, of course, you WILL (pretty please, please, please) find time to post here too, yes?

I'm still bouncing in my seat, squeeing over seeing you back here... and hoping that all is well with you & yours over the intervening years since we've talked on LJ.
