I commented on Ao3, but had to comment here as well after a re-read of this awesome chapter. I love how you add in details that so many other writers don't think of to add, like his mokomoko bristling like a cat's xD And Kagome giving herself a pep talk about how she needs to understand and respect the differences in their species, so this "not-kiss" was a necessary thing, and that she shouldn't be looking too deeply into it because, like, WHY would Sesshoumaru ever look at her like that, is what she's probably thinking. I'm already lamenting the end of this story, as I have with all your stories. You're truly a gem, and I'm so grateful that you're choosing to grace this fandom with your art and talent. Thank you a thousand times.
