What a beautifully sad and then beautifully complete story.

I loved this so much. It was a fairy tale wrapped up in such short and sweet moments that was still able to convey how profound their feelings ran. The thought that Sesshoumaru was seemingly biding his time until Kagome was ready to open her heart again, and his close proximity was his way of ensuring he would be there when she was ready. She probably didn't even know until that moment in the new castle that she even felt that way toward Sesshoumaru. So sweet. Thank you for sharing this.

Beautiful from beginning to end.  I like how Sesshomaru let her heal and grow in her own time while he just stayed nearby if she ever needed support.
