Also I love that they're forming a routine together! For some reason, the other night I was thinking maybe Sesshomaru's current retainer is actually Kagome's grandfather but he never told Sess that he had children and grandchildren in an effort to raise the family in the modern world and then introduce them to Sesshomaru to bring him out of his centuries long isolation from advancements in technology. I know that's not the case but what can I say I was half asleep lol

I love how they're slowly becoming so used to each other that it seems like they couldn't find a way to live any other way. The way he takes care of her, and how good he is at it, and she craves his company and liking how he takes care of her the way she should have been in her grief after being in the feudal era...it all makes me melt! And now he's starting to see that she's an actual woman, the poor guy has been lonely a looooong time... Maybe time to think about taking things to the next level, eh Sess? ;)

lol.  i love their banter.  and i really like the way you're writing sesshoumaru.  i think all of his reactions are totally in character, and i can easily buy him behaving that way.  always funny to see kagome messing with him to, particularly regarding his love life (or lack thereof) XD  great chapter!  excited for more.

Love how he practically forced her (lol) to give up the reason for why she was crying, if only because it was for her own good, and the fact he cared enough was telling. I can imagine that would be so difficult to admit, but it seems that Sesshomaru admires and values honesty above a lot of things. I can't wait to see how things progress hereafter ;)

Wonderful story so far! Great writing and full of just the right amount of angst, humor, and cute. I am really hoping that Kagome, when she and Sesshomaru are together, has her lifespan extended to meet his so he doesn't have to watch her age and die in the near future for him

This chapter was so short but so sweet. You absolutely have a talent for writing these two in character, and describing how they're slowly - but not too slowly - getting along with every sentence they speak. I just love how you write them both. Looking forward to new chapters!

What a sad chapter.  I hope to delve into his feels more.  What a great story.  I love stories of growth.
