I can't believe I just found this story!  This is so different, I love it

i really enjoyed this.  i love the idea of them having a casual relationship, and the way it came about after she and inu broke up.

i could also totally see sesshoumaru not taking her seriously on account of his prejudice, and then realize his mistake after she is gone.

i love the way they interact with eachother, both verbally (how they are open/candid/teasing), and the way you discribe their interaction physically.

i like how she admits how insufficient hojo was, and how she preferred him in that regard.  i also always enjoy how she pokes him about his ego.

i just really liked this one all around, and i'm about to read it again!  hope you write more like this in the future!

this was a wonderful one shot!

I just loved how you portrayed the relationship between Kagome and Sesshoumaru! They are both stubborn, strong and  have an versatile character. It is only fitting that their relationship would be difficult and so deep. They know and understand each other in a way that is not possible for others to follow.

They way Sesshoumaru lost himself and rushed to be in her presence was great! There is nothing sexier than a Sesshoumaru reflecting on his own actions and regretting a decision he has made. He is male enough to accept his mistakes and try to do better.

No matter how strong or badass Kagome is, insecurity is a part of her character and I think that you showed that side of her well without making her out as a weakling. The twist was awesome! I just loved how it was Sesshoumaru that got "tricked". He needs Kagome to keep him on his toes, otherwise it would get boring rather fast. :P

The lemon was hot and Sesshoumaru had enough opportunities to reclaim what is his. No other Hojo will come in his way. ;)

Good job to Kagome for getting Sess to finally admit how he feels. And Sess, always being stubborn but finally deciding to take a stand. This was very good! I do feel bad for Hojo, but also no lol.
