I love this story and I hope you will complete it.

I like where it is headed and bringing Lady Mother in right at their special moment makes me think that things are going to get interesting.  lol

Sesshomaru's possessive side has finally reared it's head and of course Inuyasha feels guilty for hurting Kagome again. 

To make the story easier to read, make seperate paragraphs for dialogue. When they are jumbled together in the same sentence as the narrative it can be confusing to readers. 

Sesshomaru is very caring towards Kagome and seems to be harboring strong feelings for her. 

You wrote a sceanario for a very sensitive subject. I like the concept of the story as well as the melancholic tone of it. I hope Kagome won't dwell on her loss for too long.
