Great story and we'll written too. I love how you're adding in all of the characters, while giving them their own stories. I like the unique feel of your story as well. Even though the story base is a much told and loved one, you've been able to give it a different spin. I never would have thought to put kagura as her stepmother. I also like your attention to detail and how you made sure to take into account the cultural differences. I like that you kept the IY world, not just humans.
Now for my questions. Will Naraku been in this? Will midoriko be the fairy godmother? Does Kagome have a secret interest in attending the festival?

I wonder why Kagome is so afraid of her pretend mother and pretend sister. She needs to grow up and grow a pair, then maybe she can stand up to those two women and regain her self-esteem and freedom instead of just letting them walk all over her like a door mat.

Cinderella story was one of my favorite tale next to Beauty and the Beast, I'm so glad that there's someone like you out there, to write our favorite couple in this fashion, because I believe there wasn't enough Sesskag story written in Cinderella style, and this is my first time and the first one I have ever encountered.

So far I like your combination of the classic Cinderella story and Inuyasha. I like it a lot. Especially, Kikyo being Kagome's stepsister. Let's see if you'll make it so Kagome will lose her slipper or shoe similarly to Cinderella losing her glass slipper, or will you come up will something completely different? Maybe Kagome will lose the Sacred Jewel?

Ah, I think this is going to be an interesting, enchanting and slightly Inuyashsque tale of Cinderella. That was always one of my favorite fairytale stories.
This first chapter is written very nicely, however, there are a few grammar and punctuation errors but they did not disturb the flow of the story.
I like the clever choice of Kagura being Kagome's step-mother. Having her and Kikyo as a step-sister has got to be very taxing and exhaustive on Kagome...poor little 'cricket'. :(
I am guessing that maybe Kaede is going to be in the role of fairy godmother perhaps? :)
