KShadeslady (Chapter 2) - Wed 22 Feb 2017

This is so beautifully crafted. Your use of emotional situations and descriptions are exquisite. I am so looking forward to your next chapter. I love your description of Miroku, he is just perfect. My heart breaks for Kagome and Inuyasha needs to be Sat into a 10 foot crator. I can barely wait to see how you paint the rest of this group. Thank you for a lovely read.

Jean (Chapter 2) - Tue 21 Feb 2017

Nox (Chapter 2) - Sun 19 Feb 2017

Oh deep! Definitely looking forward to the next chapter! And good, classic Inu-idiot and Kagome running to Sesshoumaru fic with a lot of depth.

Yuki (Chapter 2) - Sun 19 Feb 2017

Hello,

I wanted to say that I love your story, this chapter was wonderful and the first one was something like "wow", I hope to read a new chapter soon.

I'm addicted to the way you write, it's really beautiful and and... just wonderful. I don't have words to describe it!

Please post the second chapter soon!!

With love,

Yuki.

I like this new direction.  Kagome is still sad and lost, but so far she's mature enough not to have runaway from her responsibility.  By the silent decision they made at the end I'm guessing it's going to be Kagome to go make an alliance with Sesshomaru.  I wonder if in this story we'll be dealing with his past self instead of his future version.  That would be interesting.  His firm steadiness and ability to see her as herself would be what she needs.  Especially if he happens to already be old in this story.  At least over 500 so he can speak with experience.  That would definitely help heal her.

Please update soon.

MythMagykFae (Chapter 1) - Tue 07 Feb 2017

Wow, this is beautiful in a tragic way. Heartbreaking, but that little bit of hope at the end, moving on... great oneshot!

Natalia (Chapter 1) - Tue 07 Feb 2017

Serena530 (Chapter 1) - Mon 06 Feb 2017

I reread this on ff.not when I first saw you posted this last night since I couldn't remember what it was about even though it was in my favorites.  I'm glad you're posting this over here and are reworking it.

I definitely liked the story even though some parts bugged me.  Sesshomaru's OOCness was one, and I'm not sure I read it right but it sounded like there was talk of him having fallen in love with Rin.  If I did read that right I'm hoping you change that in your reworking of the story.  then there's the whole Kagome wanting to go back and save Inuyasha from wherever his sorry ass disappeared to after learning about that.  I can understand that's part of her personality but it still bugs me after everything he did to her.  It's like regardless that she KNOWS she's a broken shadow of her former self because him she's still willing to go to him to get the rest of her broken.  And she seems to disregard that he can make his own choices.  She wants to save him from Kikyou but she's not taking in to consideration that it's his choice what he does.  Did it never cross her mind that he knew exactly what Kikyou was and did, but just chose to ignore it and accept her as she was?

Anyway, I did compare the first chapter on ff.net to this one and I can see the changes.  Can't wait for more.  Good luck.

Ree-san (Chapter 1) - Mon 06 Feb 2017

I'm not familiar with the story you're re-working, but I'd like to pick up with this version.  It's really wordy and it does convey the depth of contemplation/meaning that her thoughts have, but I think the poem or song detracts from that.  It was distracting and did not add anything that wasn't there.  It actually seems out of place to me, but I've never understood the urge to add that when the character isn't remotely thinking of a poem or a song.  Anyway, really curious to see how she implements this shift in thought and feeling.
