I don't think Kikyo was obsessively in love with Inuyasha after she was brought back to life again, in anime. There where even instances in anime where she told Inuyasha to move on & forget her because she was just a shadow of her real self.

I can just imagine the looks the pack would receive walking around feudal Japan in modern day beach wear. I also agree that the lady doth protest too much when it comes to Sango and Miroku.

That was a beautiful use of description, particularly the underwater scene. Its a good thing Inuyasha is out cold. He would be apoplectic.
