Couple of questions. It doesn't seem to flow together without Naraku or the jewel. Shippo's parents should be alive. Sango should be with her village and would have likely not met Miroku. Miroku's father would have had his life changed without the curse Naraku gave him and Miroku wouldn't have been looking for a way to destroy Naraku. Maybe Sesshoumaru would have come across Rin, but why would he lose his arm to Inuyasha? He seems to remember, so he likely wouldn't go after the sword (if he did, not that way) and he wouldn't be injured for Rin to find. That's the difficulty with that type of wish. It alters everyone's future because events don't happen. It's an interesting idea, I think some things just need to be tweaked a little perhaps?
I kind of liked the other version a little better. I don't know what changes you made but it feels out of sync and it seems a little disconbobulated (sp?) In the other version, if Sessho gives Kagome one letter a day, it would take too long before he comes to her. It seems like he wants to bring her up to speed with everything that happened since she left the fuedal era and how much he missed and loves her. I think it would be a slow process to read almost 500 years of letters which is a little like reading a journal. I think he should have given her all the letters at once and let her read how ever many she feels like reading at her leisure.
I liked the concept of the story and this chapter was nicely written. Looking forward to more updates.
