Wow! This was a fantastic chapter especially toward the end. I felt so sorry for Sessho. He did not deserve to die like that, but Kagome finally over came her fear and saved him. Actually I don't blame Kagome for fearing Sessho in his beast form because no one told her what to expect being mated to a demon.

It should have been up to either his father or Izyoi to explain these things to her to prepare her, but at least her heart of compassion did save the day. Now it will be a matter of time if she will go through with the mating. I know she will still have some fear left in her after that ordeal of meeting Sessho's beast in that way.

Looking forward to the next great chapter. Excellent writing.
