I love the premise of this, since lots of stories have teenage Kagome traveling farther back to meet a younger Sesshomaru.  It's refreshing to see a story do the exact opposite!  Your five year old Kagome is adorable, too. :)

One thing you could improve on is italicizing fewer words- some of them could definitely be italicized, but overdoing it makes it kinda weird (at least for me) to read!

Keep writing though- I'm sure I'll catch up to your updates in no time.

It's sometimes hard to remember the story takes place in the past. I was little when we had to take film in to get developed at Photo huts.
