A few people seem to be unable to get over the coloring at first, though a lot of other fanfics have changed Kagome's hair coloring via contacts or hair dye, and some even change her personality completely making her into a goth or nerd or prep! In this story the only thing that’s really changing is her hair and eye color. But anyway, I hope you will still be able to enjoy the story. I promise the coloring won’t really have such a big effect on the overall quality of the plot, after a while I’m sure it won’t seem as big of a deal.

Thanks for the review, I agree that the conversation was awkward, I was trying to cram too much content into a sequel which was why it wasn't going to get posted so I finally rewrote it and I'm much happier with it even though out two stars aren't at the moment.
