This is a bit late, but thanks so much for your review for Kindred Spirits! I'm glad you like S/K's interaction so far. I want their relationship to read as plausible as possible while keeping them both in character. It's... an interesting balance.

But thank you for sharing your story! I wasn't expecting the deer scene to resonate with someone on such a personal level. I wanted my readers to infer that Kagome only reacted the way she did because of her mistake. Yes, she had planned on hunting... but not one by accident and definitely not one who was carrying. It's a complicated situation, depending on one's moral standards.
