The hungry ghosts’ festival is the same as the Obon festival in Japan! Which is why I missed the Bleach update, because the manga artists don’t update during Obon festival, apparently. It’s this period of time where departed spirits come back to the world of the living to spend a month here, and during this time, there are certain taboos such as no swimming, and no staying out late. And we have to pray and put out offerings for the hungry ghosts too! It’s really kinda creepy and I still get freaked out by the idea of them being around sometimes.

The contrast between beastly Sesshy AND suppressed-human Sesshy was gorgeous, and I believe you've created a very believable Sesshoumaru which captured the readers' attention.
