Squints by Caleesci

A Question of Intelligence.

Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha, and I do not own Bones. (I mean, I have bones, but I don't own the show...hehe)

Sesshomaru's eyes narrowed upon the vial, watching as the powder swirled around and began to settle. His lips pursed as he studied the fragments sinking, confirming his hypothesis. With a sigh, he placed the vial back down upon its holder.

"Just as I suspected" He began, turning his gaze to his partner. Kagome gave him an blank look. Sesshomaru felt an odd twitch in his brow. He never ceased to be surprised by the F.B.I. agent's lack of understanding.

"It is not just powder." He continued, moving over to his computer. With a few key clicks, he brought up a list of numbers and pointed. "See?" Kagome looked from the screen, to Sesshomaru, back to the screen, then back to Sesshomaru, the blank look still firmly in place. Sesshomaru fought the itch to whack his palm to his face. Really? Did the F.B.I. really not require even a basic education?

"It is bone dust. Hence why it settles. Your victim was crushed." Kagome's face finally displayed her understanding, and shock that he could tell that from the minimal samples they had. They had only located tiny fragments of the body, and lots of blood.

"You could have just said that in the first place instead of doing the whole screen thing." Sesshomaru narrowed his eyes.

"Forgive this Sesshomaru for overestimating your intelligence."

"This is why I hate working with you squints. Always think you know everything." Kagome growled, crossing her arms over her chest stubbornly.

"On most occasions we do know everything." Inuyasha added, an idiotic grin on his face. "And while he may have cause of death, I have time of death." He held up a bag of insects and Kagome felt her face grow pale.

"Oh that's just plain gross... I will never get used to this."
