Devil's Choir

You've been running for so long, still breathing,

Hoping soon to find a song worth singing.

Every chapter of this note, they're reading,

But you're slowly losing hope on bleeding

Kagome awoke to Naraku just sitting beside of her bed which she found highly disturbing. She sat against her head board, trying to get as far away as possible from him and she just heard him chuckle.

“I see you are awake.”

“What do you want from me?” Kagome asked, the other times he had touched and violated her going through her head.

“There is something I need you to do.” Naraku's voice turned business-like which confused Kagome greatly.

“What is it?”

“There is a man that is coming here to meet with me. He is the eastern lord and we are going to be brokering a deal. I need you to charm him and talk with him, he is very interested in you.” Naraku said with a wicked chuckle.

Kagome felt herself spiraling for a moment, shooting down a dark passage way and wondering what exactly it was that was happening to her life.

I'll carry you, my darkest desire.

When life sings to you through devil's choirs.

F.E.A.R. won't steal what burns in you,

I'll carry you away from the fire.

Sesshomaru was walking now, he had heard rumors of the eastern lord going to some sort of meeting from a kitsune that owed him a favor. He was heading to the meeting place and wanted to make sure that he was able to follow the eastern lord there, the path he was taking would allow him to intersect and easily follow him. He thought this is where Kagome was being kept and he would find her. He wouldn't let Naraku steal that last spark that he had found within her. He would take her away from all of this and began to repair the damage that had been done. It was not going to be easy. But he was committed. He had felt a sense of desperation that last time they had been together and he feared she may be lost to him completely if he did not reach her soon.

My desire, devil's choirs

My desire, devil's choirs

Kagome changed into a short blood red and white kimono that she was instructed to change into. Hopefully she would just have to flirt with and carry on conversation with this demon, she certainly could think of worse ways to spend her time.

Raise another broken glass to failure,

A simple promise of a crimson saviour.

Take a look into the life you're leaving,

I promise you this isn't pain you're feeling

Kagome sat down and laughed and joked with the eastern lord, oddly enough she was having a good time, something she hadn't had in a long time. How long had it been since Naraku had taken her? One year, Four months, Thirteen days, Seven hours and Twenty-Nine minutes. Maybe it's time to give up. She thought to herself. I'm not even sure if my dream lover is real. It's entirely possible that there is no one looking for me and all of this is for naught. And why am I really resisting? I do not even know what awaits. And it would make the pain go away, I'm so tired of all this pain after all this time. Kagome thought to herself and then her attention was drawn to the lord in front of her as her cup was being filled full of blood wine once again.

“Tch Taeneth, you cad. I've already consumed a large amount of blood wine.” She giggled at the dragon lord in front of her. From the looks Naraku was giving her, she was doing a good job. She didn't wish for any more pain if possible, hopefully this would give her an advantage that he would not hurt her tonight.

I'll carry you, my darkest desire

When life sings to you through devil's choirs.

F.E.A.R. won't steal what burns in you,

I'll carry you away from the fire.

Wow!

Shortly after Taeneth left and Kagome was taken back to her room. She was sitting in front of the mirror brushing out her hair and she saw Naraku come in, what was even more surprising was there was a completed jewel in his hands in the form of an elegant necklace.

“This is...”

“The jewel, completed. This is my attempt at chorusing you to choose our side. Think about it, no one is looking for you and they aren't worthy of your glory anyway. With me you will carve a path through the world and shape it as you see fit.” He said with a dark chuckle. “Consider it.” He said as he left with the jewel. Maybe he's right. What do I really have to lose?
