They watched him seamlessly meld within the street’s growing crowd.

“Your friend. He’s very strange.”

Shippo sighed shaking his head. “He’s a dog of the West, so that description definitely fits.”

A dog of the West? Seiichi blinked uncertain if he was hearing right. “Him?”

“Yes, so be forewarned. His allegiance to Kagome is absolute, but he didn’t give you much fuss.”

They continued staring off towards where the male had disappeared.
