How she managed to crack open and breach the walls of the cage those particular thoughts and feelings were imprisoned in is a mystery to me.
It is however, painfully obvious by her previous words and the distress which she is exhibiting that the priestess is not simply parted from her father temporarily.
I am startled to realize that I commiserate with her pain. Upon further introspection I come to the rather unsettling conclusion that the priestess does indeed play a part in the increased intensity of my nearly forgotten shame.
I now feel unworthy to be in her presence.
