There was a slight tenseness in this air as no one moved or breathed. Everyone thought Kagome was going to sit Inuyasha or say something to the both of them…maybe. “I know let’s have everyone open presents! I know it’s early but I’m curious.” Rin said trying to ease the tension in the air.
Miroku….well he wanted to help everyone too so…(grope) (rub)
SLAP!
“Pervert!” Sango said and everyone laughed. Sango muttered that it wasn’t funny and she was the ‘injured party’ what did they care? Sango opened a box to see a silk scarf and the title was “To my love Sango.” Sango blushed as she looked towards Miroku---he gave Sango a look he only reserved for her and she muttered something about ‘how he was still a pervert’ from far away (not touching her). Everyone stifled a giggle.
Kagome was next as the gift box said, “Kagome.” And it was from an ‘anonymous’ It was heavy. Inuyasha mumbled something about kicking some ass as she opened it. Inuyasha looked over and roared out laughing. What the hell had he been worried about?
“Some dude gave you a book about snowdrops?! What Kagome are you going to plant them in your garden this season? I hope you have the tools to dig holes!” Inuyasha roared out laughing again that, ‘it wasn’t exactly the best way to get a girls attention’.
Kagome said nothing as she opened the book.
