Kagome took his hand with a heady breath. He pulled her into his lap, his haori hung loosely around his body and he looked up at her with something she would almost call adoration. She had her feelings of doubt about them and about what he had been doing while she was waiting on him. But as she looked into his eyes she almost felt a sense of compulsion, she didn’t need to ask what was going on. She just needed to enjoy this time here, that she had with him. Kagome looked at him and stroked a hand gently on his cheek.
