[color=#000080]Kagome was walking through the forest with Inu-Yasha, Sango, Mirkoku, Kilala, and Shippo. They were on another shard hunt, and they weren't having very much luck, they had about half of the jewel, there were the two in Kouga's legs, and the chunk that Naraku possessed. There were a few pieces scattered across the Feudal Era, but those were becoming scarse. But intstead of being happy, Inu-Yasha was even more overbearing and intolerable than usual. It was really beginning to get on Kagome's nerves. They stopped to make camp that night and she was relieved that they could finally stop for the night, Inu-Yasha had been driving them like slaves, acting like he forgot that they were human; Kagome knew otherwise. After they ate Kagome went to sleep, she was very tired, she hadn't been sleeping particularly good as of late, she always woke up in the wee hours of the morning and most nights she ended up walking in the forest trying to find solace. This night was no different, she awoke at one in the morning, and seeing that Inu-Yasha was asleep, she went ahead and walked into the forest. She sighed quietly to herself. Kami, what's wrong with me? Why can't I sleep? Kagome thought to herself. Suddenly Kagome felt a strong demonic presence behind her.
"A little late to be out by your lonesome, isn't it little Miko?" A deep voice said brom behind her, one that made shivers dance down her spine.
"Sesshoumaru..." She whispered. Oh no, what's he doing here?
"Miko...unable to sleep?" Sesshoumaru's scintillating tenor washed over Kagome, playing havoc on her body.
"Why are you here and how did you know?" Kagome's voice was soft and hesitant.
"I know because I've seen you walking the forests, quite dangerous for you, you know. And I am here because you intrigue this Sesshoumaru." Sesshoumaru, normally a demon of few--or virtually no--words, spoke uncharacteristically.
Kagome was froze, she couldn't speak, and she knew she shouldn't feel this way. She shouldn't feel anything for Sesshoumaru, except perhaps fear, a sane person would have feared him--but she was clearly not sane right now. She was always, rather, awed by his presence; he was always totally commanding and in control. She felt now totally engulfed by his presence and she felt something coursing through her veins...dare she say desire? But she couldn't desire Sesshoumaru, sure he looked like a Kami an dwas hotter than the seven layers of hell, but she couldn't desire Sesshoumaru.
"I...I have to...I need to leave." Kagome stuttered as she began to walk towards camp. But before she knew it she was slammed into the tree and she let out a small yelp of pain and surprise.
"Tch, now now MIko, going so suddenly?" Sesshoumaru chuckled, another first for Kagome, she had never even seen him smile and here he was chuckling at her. "Come on, Miko. I can smell your desire." His dark voice sent pleasurable shivers down her spine. What happened next happened in a fraction of a second, yet Kagome saw it all in slow motion. Sesshoumaru's lips descended onto hers for an intense and viscious kiss. Kagome had just began to kiss him back when he was blasted from her lips by a pink bolt. He fell to the ground and she sunk against the tree.

Oh come on, you guys didnt' think I was going to make i that easy, did you? Then we would have no plot, and plot is very important to me. And speaking of plot, Sesshoumaru seems to enocountered a road block in getting what he wants from Kags. What oh what to do about it? **chuckles**
I hope you guys liked the first chapter and please forgive me for the shotrness, OOCness of Sesshoumaru, and any mistakes that were made. This random idea came to me at 1:30 in the morning and I just had to sit down and write it, it was so compelling in my mind. Especially with what I have planed for the couple. All will be revealed in due time and the next chapter will focus more on Sesshoumaru and his reaction to what has just occured.
TA!
