Chapter 425: Something’s Missing
She’s not ready.
With this in mind, Sesshoumaru exited the pool, knowing that the miko’s glassy-eyed stare wasn’t following him. His soaked hakama hardly weighed him down as he moved to snatch up his haori and obi from the floor. Deciding to leave his armor behind, he returned to Kagome, where she was still sprawled on her back, half in and out of the spring. Lifting her by the shoulders, he dressed her in his kimono and secured it with the silk cloth of his sash.
Then, finally satisfied, he left for his quarters, drying them both with his youki.
