“Chichi-ue.”
Touga nodded at his firstborn. “Do what you must,” he said. “I am also proud of how far you’ve come.” He smiled warmly at him, not knowing if this would be the last time they saw each other. Hopefully, their next meeting would not be until many years had passed.
“When this is over…” Sesshoumaru began softly. “This one will make sure you are relieved of your duties.”
“With Inuyasha?”
Sesshoumaru paused briefly as he grabbed the back of Naraku’s haori with one hand and had the sword of the Wind Scar in the other. “Perhaps.”
