Scared
The girl refused to calm down. She was jumpy and irrational. Whenever someone reached to touch her she screamed at them.
When her doctor returned she started spouting nonsense about finding someone. “Dr. Kuro. I have to find him. He can help me. I have to make it better.” A nurse held her down then and gave her a sedative.
On a whim he decided to indulge her. “Who is it you must find, Kikyo.”
She shook her head. “She told me her name was Kikyo. Not mine. I need to find him!”
“Who?”
“The man with the crescent moon.”
