Here they were, the finally part of their journey was almost over. Kagome was nervous about the battle but had faith Inuyasha would
defeat Naraku. They did not have to wait long for him to come, he did but he was running away from someone else. Kagome
gasped and memories flooded back to her.
Kagome got lost a few months ago and Sesshomaru found her, he took care of her. Fed
her, made sure she had clean clothes dry clothes, made sure she was in good health. He explained to her many times that she
was now part of his pack and no longer in Inuyasha's, she yelled and cried for two months straight. Something had to be done
about it, so he finally bit back. "Will you shut the hell up, woman! If you are going to stay around demons all the time then learn
how they live and how their laws work. I'm tried of hearing you cry and 'Inuyasha this' and 'Inuyasha that', really now, Rin acts more
grown up than you. I could have left you back there to be killed, raped, or eaten; would you have liked that better than being
here with I? If so, I'll take you back in a heart beat. If not then shut up." Kagome got angry at him so saying that and ran off that night when
he fell asleep. He woke up to hear someone screaming help and he smelt blood, looking towards Kagome's bed he saw who screamed and so
he ran in the direction with the scent of blood. A rat demon was taughting her, "come on little one, I sense holy powers. Fight back!" Kagome
laid on her side and saw Sesshomaru standing there, he sat down and watched her. "You got yourself in this, Miko. Now get yourself out,
learn to fight. Defend yourself for once and stop leaning on others to do it for you." Kagome cried and yelled at him in a pathetic voice,"please
Sesshomaru, help me!" Sighing he got up and used his acid whip on the rat demon. killing it right when it hit, walking towards her, he towered
over her shaking form and sneered in anger. "Come up with some reasons as to why I should not leave you here, Miko. Starting now." Kagome
cried and hid her face in her arms, Sesshomaru spun on his foot and called out to her, "good luck surviving Miko." "No! Please wait! Come back
you bastard!" Kagome looked at him and he rubbed his temples, "why do I bother." He walked over to her and non gently picked her up,
earning him a yelp from her. After that they just fought, she would refuse to do little things for him and he would insult her and
compare her to a twig or as head would say most of the time to her, "a pile of horse shit. All I did was ask you to stay right here, and when I
come back you ran off again! I sometimes believe suicide won't even help, I thought sometimes of killing you and then thought of you haunting
me for it. I can't win!" Sesshomaru yelled out kicking Jaken far, where he became a twinkle in the sky. He turned on Kagome and snarled out,
"I see why that half breed runs off to see his dead lover." After those words were spoken, both of them stayed silent for months. Neither
spoke to one another until Sesshomaru got seriously wounded in battle. He would fade in and then fade out and come back, it worried Kagome
she stayed up sleepless nights tending to him. Breaking his fever and washing his mouth out he he would vomit the poison, "we need to get
back to Rin and Jaken, but I can't carry you." Kagome whispered to a sleeping demon beside her. Sesshomaru awoke and started mumbling
things, "I'm sorry Kagome...I don't mean to make you cry all the time...you smell good and you are far more pretty than the dead Miko."
The longer they stayed in the cave, the more things were heating up. Once his wounds were healed they stayed there a little longer, and had
sleepless nights as well. Kagome did not regret what she did with him, but soon she got depressed as she thought of Inuyasha. "I betrayed
Inuyasha..." She started to cry and Sesshomaru felt his chest hurting at her words. He growled and bit out roughly, "silence, I'm tired of
your tears. I'm taking you back now, I changed my mind and I do not want you anymore. You think of another man when your with me and
I have had enough." Kagome looked at him in surprise and stayed quiet through out their journey, he stopped suddenly and dropped her.
"Go ahead and be with your precious Inuyasha." He turned and walked back ignoring her calling out his name.
After that Kagome told them Sesshomaru kidnapped her and other things, and brought her back. She kept the sadness inside
her, missing him.
She discovered only a few weeks ago after he brought her back that she was inlove with him, yesterday Inuyasha came up to her
and asked her a question. "Do you...regret not staying with him?" Kagome smiled at him and shook her head no. "No way,
I wanted to be here with you Inuyasha." 'Lies, all lies. Why must I lie to myself.' Inuyasha grinned and kissed her, Kagome
kissed him back and pulled away. "I regret that he found me and I regret we did that."
Now here she watched Sesshomaru battling Naraku, he looked like he wasn't even trying. Kagome got scared when one of
Naraku's tentacles went through Sesshomaru's chest, close to his heart and slung him away like a rag doll. Kagome felt the tears
forming when Sesshomaru did not get back up, "Sesshomaru..." She whispered. She walked towards him then broke out into a
run, "SESSHOMARUUU!" She screamed out, ignoring Inuyasha's yells as he and the others fought off Naraku. She fell at his side
and wimpered, her hand hovered over his wound and she looked at his face. "Sesshomaru, talk to me...please." His face was
cold and paler than normal. He barely opened his eyes and looked at her, Kagome smiled and held his head in her arms
protectively. "You regret...everything." Kagome shook her head and said to him, "No I don't." She heard a laugh and looked up,
Naraku was laughing and pointed at her. "You fool! Sesshomaru has been watching you ever since he brought you back!
Oh, I bet it hurt him when he saw is one true love kissing his half brother. Kukuku I love it, and now! He dies, not because of me
but because of you! He fell in love with a whore! Hahahahahahahahaaa!" Kagome looked down at Sesshomaru only to see his
eyes dull and she did not feel his heart beating. "Sesshomaru? Sesshomaru?! Wake up! Wake up damn you!" Kagome cried
as Sesshomaru did not respond to her yelling. She backed away from his body and looked at Naraku in anger, "I'll kill you!"
Kagome's body suddenly went ablaze with raw Holy energy, it circled around Naraku. Purifying him slowly, finally it got to his heart
and where to Shikon Jewel laid. Her powers purified the jewel and killed Naraku in the process. Kagome panted and dropped to
her knees when the jewel rolled her way, she grabbed it and without thinking wished upon it. "I wish for Sesshomaru to come
back alive." See looked at Sesshomaru and saw he was still dead, and the jewel was gone. A woman was in front of Kagome
and she spoke, "I am Midoriko, you used the jewel for a selfish wish Kagome. Now you will be sent back to your time, and never
allowed to return here ever again." Kagome panicked and saw blackness. She woke up in the well and saw she was in her time,
she felt a sob forming out of her mouth and let it out. That's how her mother found her. She told her mother everything,
from when she got lost to the battle. Her mother patted her back and said to Kagome, "do you regret?" Kagome stopped crying
and looked at her mother. "I regret going back to Inuyasha, I regret kissing Inuyasha, I regret lying to myself. I..." Kagome
let a sob out and said in a little voice, "I regret loving him."

Not a good ending but eh, I feel like it kinda suits it.
