Wound

I debated with myself for a few minutes if I should write this idea for Sesshomaru and Kagome or Itachi and Sakura. I decided Sesshomaru and Kagome because well, I like that couple more and I'm not exactly a master of the Naruto world. So here is my first attempt at a drabble. That is how you spell it, right? Anyway, to me, a drabble is an OneShot that is one thousand words or less.

Wound

"Come on," Kagome murmured mainly to herself. Her hands were glowing with her priestess powers as she pressed them onto the gaping wound on Sesshomaru's chest (and what a fine chest it is). Kagome shook her head, now isn't the time to be thinking of that sort of stuff.

"Priestess," Sesshomaru rasped out, the wound making it hard for him to breathe.

"Don't, Sesshomaru!" Kagome nearly shouted, already knowing what he wanted to say. "I don't care if you are the Lord of some lands. I don't care if you defeated Naraku. I don't care if you have the power to resurrect a hundred dead people. You still need my help." By the end of her mini speech, Kagome was already out of breath and she could feel the tears running down her cheeks.

Gritting her teeth, Kagome pushed her priestess powers to their limits and concentrated even harder on his wound. The wound was being extremely stubborn and refusing to heal. She swore it was smirking at her.

By the time Kagome managed to stop the bleeding, Kagome already felt like she was about to die. Much too exhausted to do anything, Kagome just sank down next to Sesshomaru and allowed her body to relax. She could dress the wound later. There was no way that the Lord of the Western Lands, defeater of Naraku who holds the power to resurrect a hundred people cold get a bacterial infection.

"Priestess." Sesshomaru's voice broke Kagome out of her light rest.

"Huh?"

"Thank you. That is all I wanted to say."

Thank you for trying, was what he meant, but Sesshomaru was a demon of few words (if any at all), so it was no surprise that he didn't complete his sentence, really. Suddenly, Kagome felt real bad snapping at him.

My first drabble and I really, really hate it. Whatever. I always complain about my stuff so I might as appreciate what I can do at the moment and hope to improve. Three hundred words, not too long and not too short, I think.
