Kiss & Tell by Sereia

InuKog, Dentist, Black

"I still don't know how ya get away with it."

Kouga smirked, fangs flashing even though his ears were rounded. "I'm a dentist; everyone just thinks they're caps. Or that I filed them myself."

Inuyasha pursed his lips. Through the famines and wars, they'd managed to make it to the modern era—had even found Kagome again—but her year in the past hadn't made a difference. Sure, hanyou were more widely accepted by youkai, but humans outnumbered them ten thousand to one, and it was safer to stay hidden.

He supposed he should've been used to it by now, considering his human night, but Inuyasha still hated the fact that he was forced to dull his senses just to fit in.

"You're pouting again."

"Keh! Am not!" he said, crossing his arms.

Kouga finished washing his hands, the rest of his staff having already left for the day. "You could always get the runt to adjust yours too," he said, tone thoughtful as he ran his damp hands through his hair, not bothering to dry them. "They'd just think we have a mutual kink."

Colour bled into Inuyasha's cheeks. "It's bad enough that you call me your wife at work. I don't need them makin' comments about us doin' weird shit in the bedroom."

Kouga caught a lock of his mate's black hair, tugging it out of the ponytail at the base of his neck and holding it to his lips, eyes glinting. "But you like it when we do weird shit in the bedroom."

Inuyasha's blush only deepened, but he managed not to look away. "I don't need them talkin' about it, though."

The wolf chuckled and leaned against him, pressing their bodies together. "Let 'em talk. It might give us some new ideas." He tugged on Inuyasha's hair, the hanyou grumbling as he tilted his chin up for the kiss he knew was coming, managing to resist for a solid five seconds before moaning and wrapping his arms around his mate's neck.
