Kagome was dressed for the trip, her new blue bag-pack filled with food and essentials. Sesshoumaru measured her a with an inquisitive look and eyebrow raised.
“Woman, it is this Sesshoumaru’s duty to provide you with food and shelter,” he informed her but Kagome shook her head smiling at him.
“I know that, but I want to take care of myself,” she explained and swore she saw Sesshoumaru frown at her. “I am not weak, I want to prove that to myself, besides a girl never opens all of her cards,” she winked at him and laughed when he scowled.
