Insomnia by Violet Hour

Kagome can't sleep, plain and simple. It's been like this for weeks and Inuyasha's getting testy about her sluggish responses. She's tried over-the-counter pills, running herself ragged by day, hell, even her grandpa's "miracle" remedies. Nothing helps.

Staring at the fire, she sighs and presses her hands against her eyes. She's seeing things that aren't there, shadows and figures and weird shapes. Growling to herself, she turns away and stomps in the direction of the shallow stream. Maybe if she bathes, it'll help.

It's just as she's pulled off her shirt that she notices Sesshomaru.
