Oh, blessed heavens! All of those SessKag stories that I hate... because Inuyasha turns into a monster, for no apparent reason... you have outdone them (in a good way!). In your story, Inuyasha's transformation into this abusive jerk actually makes sense. Which I like. ^_^ Even though I don't like Sesshy beating up Kagome, I realize that HE doesn't like it either. And even though Inuyasha is going to have this terrible existence (if he ever manages to escape) I feel strangely sorry for Sesshy's mad obsession. It's all his grandmother's fault! She sounds soooo wicked. Great story! It's probably the most "believable" SessKag story I've read in a long time.

OMG! I love this story! I am completly and untterly enraptured by it! And no, there is no OOC'ness whatsoever in this. Your right, Kagome it brave and strong, but not ruthless. She fights in her own way, and this story is so amazeingly unique I have to say I've never seen its equal. I was so sad when I got to chap 7 and went to read the next and it wasn't there. I hope very much that you add more to this, I'm dieing to see how it all turns out. You are a talented writer and very creative as well, I know I won't be disapointed when you add more:)I hope you do add more, I'd love to see what'll happen now that she has finally called for Sesshoumaru.

| This is a tragically beautiful story and I say that because, when I see the update a wave of dread overcomes me whilst clicking to open the new chapter.
| There are so many layers of complexity to Sesshomaru. In the manga, he does keep showing up, and has saved Kagome a few times, and complied with her wishes on a few other occasions. I think that is enough to establish that he is "interested" in her, on some level. And while he has become much more caring, since taking care of Rin, it would be unreasonable to conclude that he would become tame and chivalrous, a "perfect knight", all of a sudden. He has shown himself to be something of a trickster, and a maker of bad bargains in the manga, as well as a sorcerer. We meet his mother once, in the manga, and can see where he got his taunting, cat-like side. His father's unfaithfulness and abandonment of Sess and his mother would make it important for him to surpass his father in power, and in constancy. And you introduce his grandmother, an integral part of the recipe that makes up such a complex character. Amazing writing! And what an awesome, dark, fascinating story. I get so excited when I see that you have updated. Please write more soon...
