1. This is a site where all ratings are allowed. Please obey the ratings. 2. Reader: There is a difference between constructive criticism and a flame. If you do not understand the difference, do not offer either. Flames are subject to deletion, and the offending party will be rebuked in private. Repeat offenses will result in profile deletion. If an author/artist states they do not want critique, do NOT offer it in spite. That will be considered a flame. Author/Artist: Try not to take offense to genuine critique. This is a learning experience. If you do not want critique, clearly state that on your profile and in an Author's Note inserted in the actual story or artist description. 3. Offensive material is subjective. However, use common sense. Hate speech, offensive words intended to incite the reader to anger, or Author Notes attacking another author/artist is not allowed and will result in reprimand or profile deletion dependant on the offense. 4. Plagiarism is subject to profile deletion. However, please learn what the word means before complaining that another author stole your ideas. Shared cliche is not grounds for plagiarism accusations. Sequencing of plot, word-for-word theft, and so on is plagiarism. If you have any questions or wish to file a genuine complaint, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . This is my personal email, and I will deal directly with any complaints. Taking or using fanart without the artist's permission is plagiarism. Some might view fanart as common property, and assume it is fine to use it in AMV's without permission from the artists. It is not. That is stealing the creative toils of another person for personal gain/fame. We all know who created Inuyasha, so fanartists and authors all give homage to Takahashi. Claiming fanart for your AMV or other purposes like icons without permission and/or credit is tatamount to claiming you created it yourself. For those that would seek to throw accusations, all fanart and icons on this site's layout are used with full artist permission 5. Trolling will result in immediate profile deletion. If you wish to mock the fandom, do it elsewhere. 6. Review whoring (i.e. holding chapters hostage for a set number of reviews) is not allowed. 7. Content-based rules: Posting chapters of under 700 words is not allowed unless it is a drabble/one-shot/verse/poem. That may seem extreme, but this is to keep the few who would split chapters into unfulfilling bits in the hope for more reviews in line. Typos, general mistakes, and whatnot are not an issue. We all make mistakes, and as said above, this is a learning process for many. Stories that have no spacing, uses script-speak (Kagome: Let's go to the mall.), has AN's littered throughout the story rather than at the beginning or end, or has the general overall appearance of mud, will be deleted if the author does not clean them up after being contacted. If you do not understand how to clean it up or fix the formatting on your own, post a message to the forum for help. 8. Do not abuse the rating system. It is there to help guide the users to the content most enjoyed. Rather than rate out of jealousy or spite, try improving your own work. 9. There are icons uploaded in the profile section that are free for you to use on this site. They were created by Quirkyslayer, who generously allowed us to borrow. Please do not steal or attempt to claim ownership of said icons.
